Why use Opin instead of a smartwatch or bluetooth earphones?

Both of those are good options to avoid phone distractions. Smartwatches can be expensive and battery life is poor (normally less than a day). It’s sometimes easier to read notifications but you have to lift your watch to talk to it & hear from it.

Bluetooth earphones can be a good option. Prices range from cheap to expensive (Apple Airpods) and the battery life is normally in hours rather than 4 weeks with Opin. It can be socially awkward to wear when talking to other people, imagine playing with your kids with earbuds!

Both smartwatches and earbuds are generally tied to the device manufacturer assistant E.g. you cannot use ChatGPT on a Pixel watch. Also depending on the manufacturer, they may not get regular or any software updates. With Opin, the updates come automatically from your phone apps.
